VIC Image Database
The purpose of this database is to provide useful digital images for to the broader volcanology community for EDUCATIONAL and SCIENTIFIC USE (e.g., giving educational lectures, grant proposals, etc.). By entering the database you are obligated to contact the photographers before using any of the images in the database for other uses (e.g., books, journal publications, etc.).
The database is accessible at http://icon.dickinson.edu/viwg/. Select the 'Search Collection' button on the left to search for images by country, primary/secondary features, or a keyword of interest. All of the images are stored at 72 dpi resolution.
If you would like to contribute images to the database, please contact the database administrator.
